I love other people's art, that's why I work with vintage art work. I love the lines, color and expression.

What you may not know (unless you're the one person who read my about page) is that I have a degree in illustration.

I wouldn't say I was classically trained, but what I would say is that art school killed my creativity. I spent so much time trying to learn how to gain the approval of the big publishing companies that I stopped creating for myself.

I graduated eons ago  . . . (can't remember how long. I was cool then and now I am definitely not cool) . . . and I haven't really cared to draw or paint or really create since then.

Anyway, I was working on a Pinterest Board or something and I was showing my mom these cute illustrations and I can't remember what was said, but a light bulb went on and I started to think "Hey, I could do that."

Anyway, so I searched online for how to draw kawaii. I practiced, it was fun.

Here is the first little guy of my own. I drew him/her/it in honor of coming fall and all. I'm working on a sketch about a french acorn and maybe a kite on  a windy day and maybe some leaves falling on a windy day.

6. Dogs can't get on the internet to de-stress. Be the hero in your pug's life and exercise your dog daily. It helps with mood and weight issues, but it can also help prevent or at least postpone joint problems.

8. The folds in a pugs skin can get pretty yucky and if it stays unattended it can develop infections.To keep the outside of the eyes and nose wrinkle clean use an unscented baby wipe.
